The start of the 2023 season brings uncertainty for Dabo Swinney and his Clemson Tigers. As opinions vary on their potential success and their ability to retain their status as the ACC's top team, one thing is certain - the Tigers are not ready to give up their throne just yet.

While many believe that Florida State will rise to become the new dominant force in the ACC, there are those who have faith in the Tigers and the improvements they've made during the offseason. One significant change came in the form of their new offensive coordinator, Garrett Riley, the 2022 Broyles Award winner.

With Cade Klubnik now leading the charge as the Tigers' quarterback, and Riley ready to unleash the full potential of the Clemson offense, the Tigers have their sights set on a triumphant comeback in 2023. College Football News seems to share this sentiment, ranking the Tigers as the 7th best team in the nation in their preseason rankings.

Interestingly, the Seminoles find themselves ranked lower at number 14. While College Football News doesn't provide any specific reasoning behind their rankings, it's worth noting that this is the lowest preseason ranking we've seen for the highly-hyped Florida State team. It seems that College Football News is not entirely convinced by the Seminoles' pre-season hype.

As the 2023 season unfolds, all eyes will be on Cade Klubnik and the Tigers, eager to see if they can reclaim their position as the ACC's top team. With the addition of Garrett Riley and the newfound confidence, Clemson is poised to make a run that could leave the doubters in awe.
