"He did exceptionally well. Although there was one unfortunate play, credit must be given to the defense for executing a brilliant zone blitz," Swinney stated. "Cade didn't anticipate the end dropping, and Denhoff seized the opportunity. It was an outstanding play by our redshirt sophomore defensive end."

While there were a couple of throws he'd like to redo, overall, it was a solid first day."
